Health & Wellness

Our Wellness Center is a perfect way to start you on your journey to good physical health.  If it's a group exercise class you want, join in on one of our fitness classes such as Resist-A-Ball or Pi-Yo, which not only builds cardio & muscle strength but also core muscle strength to stabilize your whole body!

Let us not forget our Boot Camp that has over 50 recruits who rise up at 5:45 AM, 3 days a week to be inspired to run, jump, squat or do whatever else their instructors decide for them that day!

If you prefer a quieter way to energize your spirit, then try a meditation or yoga class.  Health in mind, body and spirit are waiting for you at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA.  Here are just some of the ongoing Health & Wellness Programs we offer:

Youth/Teen Fitness Center hours

Youth/Teens ages 12-13 years
This age group is welcome into the Fitness Center only with a parent or guardian 18 years or older supervising them at all times, in addition they must also complete our 6 week Youth Strength Training class.  Times available for this age group.
Monday-Friday         12:00pm to 5:00pm
Monday-Friday         7:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday-Sunday     12:00pm to 5:00pm

Teens ages 14-16
This age group is permitted into the Fitness Center at the times listed below.
Monday-Friday         12:00pm to 5:00pm
Monday-Friday         7:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday-Sunday     12:00pm to 5:00pm
