Camp

For kids, camp is a chance to learn a new skill, pursue a personal interest, develop friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime.  The Ipswich Family YMCA offers traditional outdoor programs and specialty camps that promote the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. 

YMCA camp leaders have a heart for kids. They are eager to create a sense of community and serve as models of integrity. They also know how to provide a whole lot of fun for young campers, teens and their families! 

 Camp Takoma - Each week offers a Sports Emphasis and a Specialty Theme.  Explore our wooded trails, try archery, swimming, drama, arts&crafts, low ropes and end the week with a team playoff.

 Counselors In Training - An opportunity to learn leadership skills in a camp setting.  Get your training to become a future camp counselor.
