The Ipswich Family YMCA offers traditional outdoor programs and specialty camps that promote the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. YMCA camp leaders have a heart for kids. They are eager to create a sense of community and serve as models of integrity. They also know how to provide a whole lot of fun for young campers, teens and their families!
Camp Takoma - Come experience a summer of awesome camp acitivities including Sports, Swimming, Arts and Crafts, Low Ropes, GAGA and Archery. Walk through our wooded trails, visit our outdoor Arcade and participate in weekly themed activities and timeless camp traditions! Camp Takoma is a place to meet new friends, reunite with old pals and build a summer of memories!
Camp Dory - Located at Centennial Grove on the shores of Chebacco Lake. Swimming, kayaking, art, sport instruction and orienteering through the wooded trails of Essex.
Counselors In Training - An opportunity to learn leadership skills in a camp setting. Get your training to become a future camp counselor. Offered at both Camp Takoma and Camp Dory.
