About the Series
For many years, the YMCA has provided outstanding road races throughout the North Shore. In 2006, the North Shore YMCA joined forces with New England Running Company to create the Race Series – 10 highly organized, professionally timed races located throughout the North Shore.
Now in its 4th year, the series is bigger and better than ever as thousands of runners take on these 14 beautiful North Shore courses in 2009. This November we're adding our first trail run!
Our races are not only exciting opportunities for serious runners, they also provide a memorable experience for the entire family! Many series races also run special “Kids' Fun Runs” and offer a variety of food, fun and games for all!
How to Qualify as a Series Finisher
Run at least 5 of the 14 series races, and you’ll qualify as a series finisher! But run as many as you’d like – each race is a chance to improve your total score. Series finishers will receive a special commemorative gift!
