Infant/Toddler Care

Programs With A Purpose
The YMCA of the North Shore believes that our childcare programs are an extension of the home. We seek to help children and adults in their daily functioning, to relieve stress, and to provide the necessary resources that will strengthen the family unit that we believe is the foundation for a healthy community, society and world. The YMCA advocates for all parents in their efforts to be responsible caregivers who are concerned with developmentally appropriate activities, practices, and programs for their children. YMCA Infant/Toddler programs provide a safe, wholesome environment in which children can learn to communicate, cooperate and care about each other.

The Children's Enrichment Center cares and nurtures children ages 6 weeks though 2.9 years.  Our center is accredited through the National Association for the Education on Young Children (NAEYC), an accreditation that only 7% of programs receive nationally.  This accreditation, in conjunction with the high standards developed and enforced at the YMCA, ensures that all children receive safe care AND the important learnings that are essential in developing successful children.

Our Program Offers:

  • Cooperative Play
  • Socialization Skills
  • Infant/Toddler Curriculum
  • Low Staff-to-Child Ratios
  • Licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care
  • Caring, nurturing staff

What will your child learn and develop?
At the Children's Enrichment Center your child will learn and develop age-appropriate skills on a fun-filled schedule of activities each month.  Our experienced teachers provide parents with a monthly newsletter that highlights the learning activities as well as important feedback about each child in the program.  It's one way we can keep our parents informed on the learning happening in our program.
