Campaign Update
Strengthening Kids, Families and Haverhill: A Campaign for Haverhill's YMCA
 Our capital campaign is nearly complete, as are the renovations to the Winter Street facility. The improvements to the YMCA facility have been planned with the needs of our constituents in mind; including families, seniors and those who take advantage of our residential services. The renovations include:
- Handicapped accessible elevators and lifts
- Renovated locker rooms, and the addition of a family locker room
- Construction of a new climbing gym & gymnastics center
- Creation of separate entrances for members and residents
- Improvements to the infrastructure, including new heating and
 air-conditioning systems and fire protection
Simultaneously, we have also completely renovate our housing facility at Winter Street to provide 52 enhanced single occupancy units for our residents by overhauling the third floor and creating a new fourth floor.
This campaign is a challenging undertaking, but many have and will continue to benefit from the athletic, recreational and educational programs, as well as residential services offered at our YMCA. We realize and appreciate the value of the YMCA's mission, and are committed to the successful completion of this project.

We are pleased to announce that 100% of our Board has contributed to the Strengthening Kids, Families and Haverhill capital campaign and that we close to the goal to raise the final $1.5 million of the overall project cost of $7.5 million.
