YMCA Afterschool Care

What makes the Y Afterschool program unique is our emphasis on healthy lifestyles and physical activity for grades K through 5.  Swimming, gymnastics, T-Ball, soccer, basketball, yoga and dance are all included in our program.  These specialty classes are taught by experienced instructors at no additional charge to you.  Art, drama and group projects round out the afternoon, keeping everyone busy and entertained.  The caring staff focus on making each child feel welcome and important.

Bus Transportation to the Ipswich Family YMCA for the afterschool program is provided from the Winthrop/Doyon schools in Ipswich and the Essex Elementary School.  Parents have the option to choose a schedule that best meets their needs from the options listed below.  A 2-day minimum is required.

1:00-5:00 PM - $30/day                  Essex Kindergarten
1:00-6:00 PM - $37/day                  Essex Kindergarten
2:00-5:00 PM - $23/day                  Ipswich Early Release Thursdays
2:00-6:00 PM - $30/day                  Ipswich Early Release Thursdays
3:00-5:00 PM - $17/day                  Essex/Ipswich Schools Full Day
3:00-6:00 PM - $25/day                  Essex/Ipswich Schools Full Day 
8:00-6:00 PM - $36/day Members    School Closing/Vacation Care
                       $46/day Community

* $50 non-refundable registration fee applies, plus a one month deposit or enrollment in our E-Pay option. *Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
