The Haverhill YMCA after school program is a fun, educational program that helps children develop self confidence, interpersonal relationships, positive values, academic achievement, and builds a sense of community.  All programs are licensed by the State of Massachusetts, Early Education and Care.  And with caring, qualified staff, your children couldn't be in better hands!

What will your child learn and develop?
At all of our Afterschool Programs your child will learn and develop age-appropriate skills on a fun-filled schedule of activities each month.  Our experienced teachers provide parents with a monthly newsletter that highlights the learning activities as well as important feedback about each child in the program.  It's one way we can keep our parents informed on the learning happening in our program. 

Program Hours
Monday - Friday: End of School Day to 6:00 p.m.

Program Fees 
After School Program from end of School Day to 6:00pm rate is $18.50/day
Before School Program 6:30am until the start of school rate is $10/day
Kindergarten Enrichment 11:30am-3:00pm rate is $15/day
Half Day rate is $25/day
Full-Day (vacation/non-school days) rate is $40/day

*$40 non-refundable registration fee applies. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

Field Trips
During school vacation days, most holidays, and teacher professional days, our YMCA offers fun and exciting full day programs.  Our programs visit local attractions such as the Children's Museum, Science Museum, Kids Playground, Zoos and more.  The cost of the field trip is included in the daily rate! 

Parent Handbook
In order to ensure the safety and well-being of all children enrolled, the YMCA provides a complete Parent Handbook with all North Shore YMCA guidelines for our Afterschool Program. 

After School Site Locations
Pentucket Lake: Pentucket Lake, Golden Hill, Walnut Square, and J.G. Whittier Middle School
Hill View Montessori: Hill View Montessori
YMCA Grades K-2: All other Haverhill Schools
Haverhill Public Library Grades 3-7: All other Haverhill Schools
Kindergarten Enrichment: Session Time is 11:30-3:00. Kindergarten Enrichment Program for all Haverhill schools will be held at the YMCA.
