Salem YMCA Teen Department
The Salem YMCA provides teens with personal, social and recreational programs in a safe and positive environment that will enhance personal and social skills, teach leadership and responsibility, and promote individual self-esteem.
The Salem YMCA is dedicated to the empowerment of Teens. Our Teen Rec Room is open Tuesday through Thursday, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, where teens can play video games, challenge their friends to board games, or watch a movie. On Saturday and Sunday's, our gymnasium is available for teens to play supervised games of floor hockey, volleyball or pick up basketball. Under the supervision of qualified staff, our teen program strives to provide youth with constructive activites.
On Thursday nights, join us for Pizza in our Teen Center at 6:00 pm.
Applications are available for Teen Only Memberships. Please inquire at the front desk.
Come by the meet the Teen Coordinator, Carlton Beaver, who has over thirteen years working with youth and teens.
