Max Beauregard
Production Pianist
Max has been involved in many aspects of theatre, including acting, singing, stage managing, and playing bass in the pit. Max also plays piano for his church every Sunday, and loves to play with the YMCA Theatre Company! In his spare time Max enjoys hiking, biking, snowshoeing, traveling, playing music, and spending time with family and friends. He graduated from Gordon College with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. Max is excited to be back from taking time off to hike the Appalachian Trail.

Dawna Colley
Costumes Extraordinaire 
Dawna has been involved as a Costume Volunteer since she made her grandaughter's costume for our inaugural production of "Annie Jr." Since then she has made hundreds of costumes, bringing creativity and joy to over 400 youth from across the North Shore. Dawna is a retired teacher, and she also brings years of experience as a seamstress and clothing designer for companies such as Talbots. She resides in Ipswich with her husband Ed, a retired cartoonist and caricature artist.

Carissa Gerber
Stage Manager
Carissa has been hooked on theater since the 1st grade with her one-liner in The Little Red Hen. Since then she's participated in many shows, filling many roles. She recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theater and Art from Gordon College where she's found a love for all things backstage. When she's not Stage Managing for the Y Theater Co., Carissa makes props and sets for Stoneham Theatre.

Justin Gigliello
Voice Instructor 
Justin holds a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from The Boston Conservatory. At the Conservatory he studied with vocal coaches, Victor Jannett, and Damien Francoeur Krzyzek. In addition to performance, Justin has training in vocal pedagogy, diction, theater, and theory. Justin has performed in and around Boston with many teachers and is now taking his training to private lessons.

Bekah Jordan 
Production Staff
Bekah has been involved in the theatre world for over 15 years, since her very first role in an elementary Snowman musical. She is currently finishing a BA in Theatre and Philosophy at Gordon College, with experience in acting, directing, writing, and technical production. She believes the opportunities that the YMCA Theatre Company offers provide irreplaceable life experiences for the nourishment of young artists in the community, and the young artist in all of us. rebekah.jordan@gordon.edu

Kimberly LaCroix
NSYMCA Performing Arts Director
Kimberly graduated from Gordon College with a Bachelor’s in English and Theatre Arts. She has over 15 years experience acting in hundreds of performances from New York to East Africa. Her recent work includes the title role in Antigone with Vokes Players and An Uncommon Romance with Salem Main Streets. Kimberly also teaches, directs casts of up to 75 young people, and travels with her one-woman show Mzungu Memoirs. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Theatre Ed. at Emerson College. lacroixk@northshoreymca.org

Hannah McBride
Music Director/ Class Instructor 
Hannah grew up in Chaing Mai, Thailand, where she found her love of music as a child. She began taking piano lessons at age nine and continued after her family returned to America in 2000. She began teaching beginner students at the age of fifteen, and was introduced to theatre in high school. She found a niche for herself in it. Her love for it directed her to Gordon College where she majored in Theatre. She has performed vocally in concerts, venues and coffee shops throughout the North shore, as well as in Europe and Thailand, and still labels music as her first passion. hmcbride87@gmail.com

Natalie Miller
Director of Theatre Education
Natalie holds a BA in Theatre from Gordon College where she trained in directing, acting, and costuming. She has been working in theatre both on and off stage for 5 years. In the past year she has coached students in acting with a focus on dialects of the English language. Most recently she performed in "Cry Innocent" with History Alive in Salem, MA.  millern@northshoreymca.org

Katie Oberlander

Production Director & Playwright
Katie has a Bachelor's in Voice Performance from Eastman School of Music and a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration from American University.  She has over 15 years experience as a singer, actress, director, and drama teacher in regional theatres and independent schools.  Katie has directed numerous plays and musicals with casts of up to 60 young people. Her play Applause for Plautus was published by Eldridge Publishing. The Y Theatre Co. recently produced Katie's newest work Out of Circulation.  oberlanderk@northshoreymca.org

Joanne Smith
Production Assistant/House Manager
Joanne has been doing community theater since the late '70s.  Most of her time has been "behind the scenes" as Stage Manager, House Manager, and Volunteer Coordinator. She has worked with various theater companies including Winthrop Players, Pittsfield Theater Company (Pittsfield, MA), North Shore Players , Swampscott Theater Company, and North Shore Community College.  Joanne has been with the Y Theater Co. since the beginning, and she is thrilled to be working with such a talented group!. jlsteach@hotmail.com
