The staff
It takes more than just being a good reliable staff member at Camp Tricklin’ Falls. Camp Tricklin’ Falls staff reflects the diversity of our campers and the high expectations of our campers and families. Camp staff are highly dedicated to our campers, offering a wide variety of talents and expertise. Their individual skills combine with training in CPR and first Aid, age appropriate development, water front safety and communication. They attend pre camp and summer long trainings to provide campers with a safe a positive a memorable experience. Many of our camp staff hold additional certifications as lifeguards, challenge course facilitators, archery range certifications, boating certifications and have years of experience working with children.
The Camp
Camp Tricklin’ Falls offers so much for all its 14 acres! Canoe, kayak, swim and explore the Powwow River and White Pine forest. Campers will enjoy the covered archery range, arts and craft pavilion, 55’climbing tower and challenge course, science, nature and wilderness discovery stations, baseball, basketball, volleyball and playing field, nature trails, science and nature discovery stations, amphitheater, Adirondack cabins, 30’ Tee Pee, special family events and weekly fun filled themes! Each and every day campers experience that Camp Tricklin’ Falls is more then just a summer camp, it’s a place filled with positive experiences, of friends, laughs, life long memories, values, fun and tradition. We provide opportunities to grow and discover each and every day!
The Experience
Haverhill YMCA’s Camp Tricklin’ Falls provides each and every camper the opportunity to challenge themselves, grow as an individual and surrounded by the positive and unique experiences only found at summer camp. At Camp Tricklin’ Falls the YMCA’s four core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, Caring and CTF’s fifth value of Awesomeness provide a setting that meets the needs and expectations of our campers and their families. 2012 campers will benefit from exceptional core programming; we take great pride in presenting the best camp activities throughout the summer. A camp day includes songs, engaging sports, swim lessons, canoeing, archery, creative arts & crafts, mentoring and tradition. Campers explore their connection with nature & science while composting and cultivate the camp garden, swap and river ecology. Campers also explore fun and engaging science experiments and summer long projects. We utilize the outdoor adventure experience and challenge course to develop communication, teamwork, trust and confidence.
