Myles McPherson Youth Center 

The Myles McPherson Youth Center is an amazing place for boys and girls ages 11-18.  Our center offers youth and teens a safe and fun place to hang out shoot some pool, use the compuet lab, play video games, get in a game of air hockey, particpate in programs, leagues and much more!

*On Friday Night Teen Nights/Dances we will close at 6:00 pm

Staff Bios
Eric Campbell; Teen Director
Eric has been the Greater Beverly YMCA Teen Director for two years, but has been with the Y for 5 years.  Eric oversees the programming and operations of the Teen Department at the Sterling Center YMCA and the Myles McPherson Youth Center.  Eric grew up in the Metrowest area before heading to Endicott College to play lacrosse and pursue a degree in Communications.  Eric enjoys playing sports (lacrosse by far the best!), playing video games and being with freinds and family.  Eric is active in the Beverly community serving on Beverly Main Streets 30 & Main board, Beverly Community Council and Endicott College Young Alumni Council.  Eric's favortive McPherson moment is September 1, 2009, his first offical day as Teen Director.

Ben; Skate Camp Staff
Ben brings a lot of talent to the Greater Beverly YMCA.  Ben had been with us since the summer of 2010 working both at McPherson and at our skate camp.  Ben played a imporant role in revamping our camp in the planning stages and in leading the camp day.  Ben finished up his Business degree at Gordon College and is currently taking classes at BU.  Ben is also doing a internship with the Town of Wenham Bussiness Office.  Ben orginally hails from the Midwest, but very much enjoys the city of Beverly. 

Brendan; Skate Camp Staff
Brendan has been with the Greater Beverly YMCA for two years.  Due to his full time job, Brendan has taken on a smaller role at McPherson but helps out when he can!  Brendan has a strong passion for skateboarding, music and graphic degisn.  He has become a role model for those youth and teens who are interested in those subjects.

Jennah; Teen Leader Advisor/McPherson Staff
Jennah has been with the Greater Beverly YMCA for five years and works regularly at McPherson.  Jennah also works for our After School program at the Hannah School and works as a scorekeeper for our adult, teen and youth basketball leagues.  Jennah will act as the Teen Leader Advisor and will help our elected officals and other leaders in meetings and programs.  Jennah is currently a junior at Salem State Univeristy majoring in Social Work. 


Robin; McPherson Staff
Robin has been with the Greater Beverly YMCA for the past three years.  Commonly known as "Ma," Robin works six days a week at McPherson.  In the past Robin has hosted programs based around cooking and can often to be found prepping snacks for our McPherson youth and teens.  This past winter, Robin was honored as the 2010 Greater Beverly YMCA staff person of the year!

We have said good bye to our summer staff at McPherson!  We wish the best of luck to Spencer at WNEC, Lindsey at Endicott (and her time in Spain), Danielle at UMass and Dan at Endicott (with his internship out in Arizona)!  Thanks for a great summer guys!
