The Cape Ann YMCA's Child Care programs make a difference in the lives of over 100 families in our communities. Parents enjoy peace of mind knowing their children have a great time and are well cared for by trained professionals.
Now in our 21st year, the YMCA School Age Child Care Programs are held in collaboration with the local Public Schools in both Rockport and Gloucester. Every day more than 70 children enjoy art projects, gym games, outside playtime, free play activities, nutritious snacks, homework help and more.
We offer the following child care programs:

We help out working families with full day and early release day care for students and families during school vacation weeks, most holidays, teacher training days and early release days. Children join us for exciting field trips, gym games, arts & crafts projects, stories, swimming, and songs. Check this page regularly for upcoming full day and early release day registration information as it becomes available. Please be certain to complete our Before and After School Intake Packet if you are not a regular program participant but would like your child to attend our extended day programs.
