Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program
Fee:  Members $75    Community:  $95
Gentle, safe exercise routine for persons with mild to severe joint pain.  This research based program increases your body's range of motion, flexibility, balance and strength.  Exercises can be done in a chair, standing or on the floor.

Adult Circuit Training

An advanced 1 hour workout that incorporates cardio intervals with bursts of weight lifting to keep your heart rate in its target zone for an optimal fat burning workout!   Fridays with Jen Tougas 9:30AM  

Learn to Run - Treadmill Running  (Ages 18 & Above)
Fee:  Members $99  Community $135
Learn to love the treadmill!  A running class designed to improve endurance an speed no matter what your curent running level.  Each session is specifically designed to focus on intervals, speed work and hills.  Trainer Emily

Fit Over 40 (40 & Above)

Make your body a fat burning machine.  Boost your metabolism and energy level, feel better about yourself!  A fitness coach will guide you in being smart and effective in your strength and conditioning program.

Indoor Triathlon Training Program (Ages 18 & Above)
Fee:  Members $75.00(Drop in $12)   Community $86 (Drop in $18)
Get ready for our Indoor Mini Triathlon in March!  Train on swimming, biking and running form as well as how to put it all together effectively.  Bonus strength routine recommendation from trainers!  Class is 1 hour.

Lifestyle Fitness Challenge (Ages 18 & Above)
Fee:  Members $240, Community $300
Are you looking to change your lifestyle, have you let yourself go? If you have been fit or want to bring fitness back into your life and feel better about yourself, this 12 week fitness program is for you. It's designed to get you motivated to work out, manage your weight properly and have fun doing it. You will get the results you're looking for.
Next session starts January 2nd.

Physical Activity Club (PAC) (Ages 10-14)
A 12 week personalized healthy lifestyle program focused on increasing physical activiy and good nutritional practices to establish and maintain healthy weight.  Flexible scheduling allows a weekly meeting with a personal coach who guides each participant towards achieve healthy lifestyle goals.  A YMCA membership is included when participating.  Contact Terry Gauthier at 978-356-9622 x 1310.

Looking for a fun strength and cardio interval program?  This is the class for you!  Get a total body, high intensity style workout utilizing weights, rowing and cycling techniques.  Trainers:  Brenda & Terry

Sunday Fitness Challenge (Ages 18 & up)
Fee:  Members Free  Community: $99/12 visits or a $10 drop in fee.
This is a no nonsense workout!  This class is for those who want little or no Choreograhphy, intense exercise variations using weights, tubing, body bars combined with cardio vascular segments.  A total fat burner!

Spinning Weight Loss Program (Group Training) Ages 18 & above
Fee:  Members $125  Community $175
Get a group of four or more friends together and meet your weight loss goals.  This is an 8 week performance program led by a Personal Trainer.  Power through your plateaus and see results.  Contact Terry Gauthier to schedule your group training or jump in with another group of people.   Tue/Thurs  10:00am  (8 week session)

Tufts Strong Women, Strong Men created by Dr. Mariam Nelson (Ages 40 & Above)
Fee:  Members free, Community $75
This safe and effective training program is for Women and Men 40 years of age and older who have been active or relatively sedentary for the past few years and are interested in improving their health by increasing muscle mass, strength, weight loss, improve bone density and reduce your risk for osteoporosis and related fractures. Reduce risk for diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, depression and obesity, improve self-confidence, sleep and vitality.  Great class to start with after rehabilitation from a knee, hip or shoulder injury.

Tabata Circuit (Ages 18 & up)
Fee:  Members $45   Community  $66
Have you hit a plateau? Are you doing the same workout day after day?  Personal Trainer Cameron Carpenter alternates timed bursts of energy with brief rest periods in this weight training series.  Challenge muscles to a whole new level.  Monday Evenings 7:30pm. (8 week session)

TRX Suspension Training
 (Ages 16 & above)
Fee:  Members $20, Community $25 
Train for any fitness goal with Suspension Training, workouts deliver a total body workout with just one piece of equipment.  Exercises that build strength, balance, flexibility and core stability.  Good for all fitness levels.
Appointment can be scheduled with 1 or two clients, 1/2 hour sessions. Training held in gym or Fitness room, (determined upon availability).  Packages are also offered: 5 sessions for $90, 10 sessions for $170, 15 sessions for $240 & 20 sessions for $300.  Contact Terry Gauthier with any questions; gauthiert@northshoreymca.org

TRX/Kettlebell Group Training  (Ages 18 and up) 
Fee:  Members $75/6 sessions  Community Frop in $18/Individual class
TRX and Kettlebell incorporates the best of both worlds; total body training and functional resistance training together in one class.  Build core strength, reduce body fat and improve muscle tone and endurance.  Trainer:  Cam

Teen Muscle Conditioning    

Fee:  Members $40  community $60
Join us in the Group exercise room, where you will gain strength, flexibility, and learn proper form using bar bells, bosu balls, dumbbells and more.  Perfect class to prepare for your fall sport or for general health & fitness.
