Kinderswim- Essex Schools
The YMCA bus picks children up at school and brings them over for swim lessons. Parents meet your child on the pool deck after swim lessons for pick-up. Registration is done on a monthly basis with the registration forms sent home in backpacks.

Springboard Diving (Ages 9 & above)
Fee: Members $70    Community $95
Tuck, pike, and reverse dives are covered. Pre-requisites: Must be able to pass the deep water test and do a forward dive from the side of the pool.

Boy Scout Merit Badge (Ages 10 and up)
Fee: $18 per day
Attention Boy Scouts and Troop Masters! Lifeguarding and swimming badges available. Call the Ipswich YMCA Aquatics Department to set up dates and times to get your badge. We can be flexible with your schedule.

Drop-in Swim (Ages 18 and up)
Fee: Members $8  Community $11
Coached lap swimming workout for beginner/intermediate levels.

Aqua Zumba (Ages 18 & up)
Fee:  Members Free, Community Guest Fee
Dance routine set to music and performed in the water.  Focus is on strengthening the core and an aerobic workout.  If you thought Zumba was fun on land, you should try it in the water!

Aqua Aerobics (Ages 18 and up)
Fee: Members Free, Community Guest Fee
Non-impact workout in the water.  Ideal for seniors.
Mon 8:30-9:30am
Tues, Thurs 11:00-Noon

Scuba (Ages 18 and up)
Fee: Members $250  Community $250
Pass the practical and written exams to earn your NAUI certicification in the pool.  Bring your own mask, snorkel and fins, all other equipment is provided.  Open dives not included in the course.
Fri 6:00-9:00pm  Next class starts Nov. 18.

Therapeutic Aquatic Exercise (All ages and abilities)
Fee: $110 per hour private lesson. $60 per hour semi-private lesson
Whether it is an arthritic hip, shoulder injury, or back spasm, the water is a great place to get that injury on the road to healing fast. This one on one therapy can help you! Steve Victorson has experience training the U.S. Olympic Ski Team and an extensive background in working with professionals athletes, cardiac rehab, stroke recovery, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis patients.
