| Description of Duties: | The YMCA of the North Shore Selkies Synchronized Swim Team has an immediate opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the sport, to fill our head coaching position. We are a competitive club looking to grow and become an even stronger presence in the Northeast and Nationally. The YMCA of the North Shore maintains 6 pools throughout the Northshore of Massachusetts. Our team is currently 25 swimmers ranging in age from 8-18 years and competes in the novice, intermediate, age group and Junior levels. The successful candidate will move the existing program forward with a goal of continued improvement of core fundamentals and providing innovative small and team routines and should be able to communicate effectively with swimmers and their parents. |

| Requirements: | Bachelor Degree preferred. Previous synchronized swimming coaching experience is required, competitive experience swimming/coaching at the regional and national levels is highly desired and choreography skills would be a plus. The coach must also have certifications in CPR, First Aid and CCP I and CCP II and will be required to pass a background check. This position reports directly to Director of Competitive Aquatics. |
