What can you expect at a YMCA birthday party?

• Your favorite YMCA activity all to yourself.  The indoor pool. The gymnastics center. The gym.  The adventure sites. Express yourself with art.
• A phone call from the Director three days before the party to confirm your expectations.
• An enthusiastic staff person to assist with your set-up and ensure that you have everything that you need.
• A qualified instructor to lead games and activities in your chosen program area, keeping all party-goers busy and happy for up to 1 hour.

The Greater Beverly YMCA is committed to providing fun and exciting birthday parties.  Celebrate your child's birthday in their favorite YMCA program!  It's YMCA fun designed just for your special day.  The YMCA offers two different party packages so you can choose the one that best fits your needs and wants. 

Birthday Party Options

All YMCA Birthday Parties include use of specified party area, party room and instructor to lead activities and assist with set-up, serving and clean-up.

Pool Parties
Splash around and play games in the pool. Parties held at the Sterling Center YMCA indoor pool.

Party times are available on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 and 5:00-7:00 and Sunday afternoons 12:00-2:00 and 3:00-5:00. Each party consists of an hour in the pool and an hour in the party room. For each Birthday Party we will provide you with a Birthday Party Coordinator to assist you on the day of the party and to organize games in the pool area.  Birthday parties are limited to 25 swimmers per lifeguard. If you're planning a party larger than 25 swimmers, please add $50 for an extra lifeguard.

ROCK CLIMBING AND HIGH ROPES PARTY

Give your child the gift of adventure for their next birthday party!  Our belay certified adventure staff will ensure your child's experience is fun, safe, and full of positive memories that will last a lifetime!   All necessary equipment is provided by the YMCA. Party includes two hours of combined climbing and celebration time*

*Participants can choose the amount of time in each area: Rock Wall, High Ropes, Celebration

NERF PARTY

This is the latest-and-greatest party that we offer at the YMCA!  The best part is that participants can bring in their own NERF Dart toys, darts, and eyewear, and test their NERF skills on our battlefield!  YMCA staff will lead awesome games where participants battle it out in non-stop heart-pounding, sweat-inducing, action.  The YMCA has limited loaner equipment on an as needed basis.  Please call ahead to ensure availability.  Party includes two hours of combined NERF and celebration time*

Art Parties

Looking for something new and exciting to do for your child's birthday? We'll happily customize your party to suit your child's theme. Parties include one hour of staff led craft and one hour to celebrate that special birthday. Children should be at least 5 years old to participate in an art party.

Gymnastics Parties
Bring your friends to tumble, bounce and swing in our wonderful gymnastics center! Gymnastics parties include one hour in the gymnastics center with staff supervising the children and one hour in a party room! All paper products including cups, plates, napkins are provided. Parties are available on Saturday afternoons and Sunday!
