Personal Training - Click here for more information
Ages 14 and Up

Personal Training is one of the best ways to achieve and maintain your health & wellness goals. Whether your goal is to lose 10 pounds, firm up your problem areas, sports conditioning, or you are in need of getting out of your fitness rut, personal training is for you. Work one on one with our certified personal trainers to achieve your goals. Working toward your goals in a healthy manner will allow you to “stop the yo-yoing”. Here are some of the things personal training can focus on depending on your needs and wants:

  • Kettle Bells- Kettle Bells are a very old workout from the Soviet Union making a huge comeback in mainstream workouts. Kettle Bells will work your entire body, making neuromuscular connection. Studies have shown that people who train for any type of event with kettle bells often have much better results!
  • Suspension Training- A total body workout using nothing but your body weight, mind control, and some ropes can define your body in ways you may not have thought possible. Develop joint stability, flexibility and balance with this workout.
  • Sports Specific Training- Are you preparing for the ski season? Need to increase your vertical jump? Whatever your sport, you need to train for it. Just as all sports are not created equal, not all workouts help with every sport. Work with a trainer to design the best workout for your sport. You may need plyometric boxes, you may need drills… whatever is it, we can help you train properly for it!
  • Target Heart Rate Training- Have you been loyal to your workouts and watching what you’re eating and still not seeing the results your had hoped for? It may be very likely that you are working above or below your target heart rate and in either case would leave your results less than desirable. Learn how to find and train within your target heart rate and feel completely different about your workouts!
  • Functional Training- Functional Training was first designed to help people rehab injuries. It is still a method used for rehabbing however, has expanded into everything from beginner-advanced workouts. Functional training is designed to have the person train muscles that would be used in everyday life. Traditional machines stop the range of motion that our bodies use in real life. Functional training incorporates balance training, range of motion and flexibility training, and sport specific training.

Therapeutic Assisted Stretching
Ages 18 and Up

One of the most important aspects to having a fit & healthy body is often the aspect most forgotten: stretching! A good thorough stretch can help you avoid exercise related or unrelated injuries and help rehab range of motion after surgery or a slip on the ice – or just help your neck and back loosen up! After one 1/2 hour session you’ll feel the difference; imagine what eight sessions will do!

Body Measurement and Analysis
Ages 14 and Up

Your body weight can be deceiving! It is more meaningful to take measurements such as circumferences and body position. When starting a weight loss program it is very important that you remember that muscle weighs more than fat. By tracking your inches and body fat percentage you will have a much clearer view of your progress. Weight is not the end all be all to a successful and healthy fitness lifestyle!  Session length is 30 minutes.
