The Creative Arts Program

This important campaign will give arts education to kids of all artistic interests. YMCA classes will teach kids the skills of a variety of art forms and the restored Ames Memorial Hall will provide the venue to showcase their art. As with all YMCA programming, arts education is the vehicle that caring, YMCA staff role models use to help youth establish their positive self-image, a sense of self-worth and the confidence to tackle the world. The following art forms will be developed as an important part of the programs at the Creative Arts Center at the Salem YMCA.
