Opportunities for GivingThe Creative Arts Center at the Salem YMCA needs your support. The following giving opportunities are designed especially for those who seek to make a multi-year gift or to maximize their tax advantages. The YMCA can provide more detailed
information about various gift vehicles. Please consider supporting this campaign with a gift of:Cash/CheckA gift made outright with cash or check can be made payable to the Salem YMCA.
Pledges
Pledge payments may be made over a three or five year pledge period. Multi-year pledges enable the donor to consider a larger gift than would be possible in any one year.
Securities
A gift of stock can be donated electronically by contacting Debbie Amaral or Beth Francis at the Salem YMCA at 978.744.0351. Further information and instructions will be provided for the transfer of stock.
Matching Gifts
Many corporations or organizations will match cash gifts made by individuals who are associated with them. Usually the personnel office can provide the necessary information and matching gift forms.
Planned Giving
Planned gifts represent a special type of support that benefits you, the donor and the Salem YMCA. Often, a planned gift allows you to maximize your contribution and provides you with specific income and tax advantages. The Salem YMCA can provide information and assistance if you are considering a planned gift.
Bequests
A bequest in one’s will is another way to contribute to the Creative Arts Center at the Salem YMCA campaign. A donor can give a specific bequest amount or give a percentage of the total estate. The YMCA advises the donor to seek the services of an attorney or financial advisor for assistance with the bequest.
