Early Education and School Age Care

At the Y, we believe all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. It makes for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.

Early Education at the Y is an extension of the home for many children. The YMCA advocates for all parents in their efforts to be responsible caregivers who are concerned with developmentally appropriate activities, practices, and programs for their children. Our programs provide a safe, wholesome environment in which children can learn to communicate, cooperate, and care about each other.

School Age programs fill the time before and after school creatively and constructively.  Children can express their talents in the arts, sports and other areas of interest, taking advantage of all the Y has to offer. Care is also available during school vacations, early release days and snow days making sure your child always has a safe and FUN place to be when school is not in session.

When you join the YMCA's programs, you become part of our family. Staff members are partners with parents and other caregivers, working together to help kids grow up with a healthy spirit, mind and body.
