The YMCA has programs to meet your needs.  In fact, we've been providing programs that meet community needs for over 150 years. And needs come in all shapes and sizes.  For some, learning gross motor skills in a preschool gymnastics class is a need. For others, learning to play basketball is a need. For many, learning to swim in our ocean communities is essential.  And for lots of kids and adults alike, taking part in a Y program helps build self-esteem, a sense of worth and forges relationships that last a lifetime. 

But no matter what the activity, something special goes on in Y programs.  We're building character from the inside out.  Kids and adults learn the YMCA's 4 core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. . . the character building blocks that strengthen our communities.

As a community development organization, the YMCA is at the heart of meeting community needs.  And needs come in all shapes and sizes, including financial need.  The YMCA offers meaningful programs and services that make an impact in our members' lives and we invite everyone to belong to the YMCA.  We want all members of our communities to improve their health, connect with friends, and strengthen family bonds, regardless of ability to pay.  The Y is for everyone!


Need Help? – Apply for Assistance
Individuals and families that would like to participate in YMCA membership and programs, but are unable to afford the full fee may apply for ACCESS, the YMCA's financial assistance program:

• Download a  Financial Assistance Application and mail it to the YMCA
• Visit any local North Shore YMCA and complete a Financial Assistance Application
