| Greater Beverly YMCA Teen Department The Greater Beverly YMCA provides teens with personal, social and recreational programs in a safe and positive environment that will enhance personal and social skills, teach leadership and responsibility, and promote individual self-esteem. The Greater Beverly YMCA has two facilities dedicated to the empowerment of Teens in Greater Beverly. The Douglas Stephens Teen Center located at the Sterling Center YMCA campus has a teen rec room where teens can play video games, challenge their friends to board games or play a game of pick up basketball. Douglas Stephens Teen Center is also home to our bi-weekly Middle School Dances, as well as our Baseline Basketball League during the winter months. The McPherson Youth Center is a drop in center that is free for the Youth of Beverly. McPherson is going through some exciting changes over the next few months. For the first time in five years McPherson will have an operating skate park! McPherson will also be adding 2 brand new outdoor basketball courts, and will be home to the first official wiffle ball field in the city of Beverly! The interior of McPherson is a place where teens want to be! McPherson will have state of the art video games, computer lab, provide academic support and host numerous clubs and activities throughout the year. Teen Programs - Youth and Government

Monday-Saturday Upcoming Middle School Dance Dates April 11, 2008 - 7pm to 10pm May 9, 2008 - 7pm to 10pm May 30, 2008 - 7pm to 10pm June 13, 2008 - 7pm to 10pm Dances are for Middle School Students only Participants must be a Beverly resident or be in attendance with a Beverly Resident to enter the dances. Student IDs may be required.
