Early Learning Education
at the New Leggs Hill YMCA
Opening this September!

Our YMCA Early Learning Education Programs have a longstanding history of providing nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for generations of children.  Caring, qualified staff build a solid foundation of skills, knowledge and self-assurance to prepare each child for school as well as life successes.  Our Early Education Programs provide the standard of excellence that your child deserves.  Upon enrollment, each participant is offered a "free" Youth Membership.

Community Collaborations
Our programs establish relationships within our community, teaching chidren how to be a good neighbor, friend and resource to build a strong community for all.

Enrichment Programs

We believe in enrichment!  YMCA Early Learning Education is about immersing your child in a variety of great experiences.  Your child's day will include:  Swimming, Gymnastics, Sports, Music, Health, Nutrition,  and indoor/outdoor Exercise.

Families are Important
Parents are partners at the YMCA.  Our teachers recognize that children thrive in an environment which fosters parent-staff communication and cooperation.  Our Teachers promote children's learning and development while respecting and supporting families with diverse needs and interests.

Curriculum
Our strong chrriculum addresses all aspects of child development.  carefully planned activities ensure that your child achieves his/her full potential in language, cognitive and physical skills as well as emotionally and socially.  And, of course, the YMCA's values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are integrated into the curriculum.

Teachers have the educational qualifications, knowledge, and professional commitment necessary to promote children's learning, and development to support families with diverse needs and interests.
