How to register

You can register for any race by visiting any YMCA of the North Shore and completing a registration form, online through our website or runreg.com. Visit each race's page for full details, forms and links.

2013 Series Challenges & Prizes

  • KARHU/CRAFT Series Finisher Challenge – Participants who complete 6 of the 12 races within the 2013 North Shore Road Race Series will receive technical jacket from Karhu and Craft.
  • New England Running Company 12 Race Challenge- Participants who complete all 12 races in the 2013 North Shore Road Race Series will receive a gift bag containing running gear Plus!
  • Sundance Cape Ann Challenge (CAC)- Participants who complete all 4 of the Cape Ann Races (Backshore, Father’s Day, St. Peter’s Fiesta and Run the Goose) will receive a hero’s cape!
  • Holiday “Hat Trick” Challenge (HHT) – Participants who complete 3 or the 4 holiday themed races (Father’s Day, Firecracker 4, Witch City and Reindeer) will receive a fleece running hat!
    All gifts will be given out at the 2013 party.

How to Volunteer

All of our road races work because hundreds of volunteers give their time and energy to make them so successful. These folks have just as much fun, if not more than our runners! If you are interested in helping out at one or more road races, please contact Kim Lations, Volunteer Coordinator at
