Housing has always been a part of the YMCA’s mission. Locally, we offer housing to adults and families looking for a clean, safe and affordable place to call home.

Affordable housing continues to be one of the biggest challenges facing residents of the North Shore. To meet this need, our Y operates housing facilities in Beverly, Ipswich, Cape Ann and Haverhill, putting a roof over the heads of more than 385 children and adults.

We help families and individuals remain strong and viable by reducing the burden of high-rent housing. When you move into a YMCA property you become more than just a rent check. Our residents' wellbeing is important to us and we work with our residents to help them be successful. The YMCA is proud to meet the increasing need for affordable housing through our single room occupancy and family residences.
