SAFE, NURTURING ENVIRONMENTS FOR CHILDREN TO LEARN, GROW, THRIVE, AND HAVE FUN!
Child Care programs for children ages 6 weeks through middle school
At the Y, we believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success. That’s why our child care, afterschool and Child Watch programs are staffed with people who understand the cognitive, physical and social development of kids and the need children have to feel connected and supported in trying new things. At the Y, babies develop trust and security, preschoolers experience early literacy and learn about their world and school-age kids make friends, learn new skills and do their homework. Most importantly, children learn how to be their best selves. That makes for confident kids today, and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow. Everyone belongs at the Y, regardless of income. Infant and Toddler
Our Infant and Toddler programs (age 6 weeks - 2.9 years) are an extension of home for our families. We strengthen the family unit with programs that address the holistic development of young children. By supporting brain development, early literacy, healthy habits development and strong parenting skills, our programming lays a foundation for future and ongoing achievement and success.
Preschool and Pre-K programs
Our Preschool and Pre-K programs (2.9 - 5 years) prepare children for a lifetime of academic success by offering children and their families early learning readiness experiences and comprehensive child development programs. With the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility as our guide, we work with families every day to help children discover their full potential.
Before & After School programs (Kindergarten - Middle School)
Our After School programs (Kindergarten - Middle School) keep students engaged in learning activities outside of school time. We offer programming after school at both the Y and in schools. Our dedicated staff help them complete homework, play organized games and sports, make crafts and practice healthy snacking. Care is also available during school vacation weeks, early release days, snow days and other school breaks.
Summer Day Camps
SUMMER OF ADVENTURE, LIFETIME OF MEMORIES
Our camps offer children positive developmental experiences that build confidence through skill-building activities suited to their age. Children gain a sense of achievement through programs in the outdoors and are welcomed to camp each day by caring and nurturing staff, whose highest priority is their safety and well-being.
Day Camp programs for children ages 5-13
Few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities. Camping, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. Camping teaches self-reliance, a love for nature and the outdoors and the development of attitudes and practices that build character and leadership—all amidst the fun of playing, swimming, canoeing, archery, talent shows and meaningful relationships. Y counselors are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper.
