YMCA of the North Shore Featured Partners

We are so grateful for the support of our Featured Partners who were critical to the success of our annual gala. Although 2020 was an extremely challenging year, we were able to count on the continued support of our Featured Partners. We'd like to share a little bit about each of them below.

Groom Construction was proud to be chosen as General Contractor of the Lynch/Van Otterloo YMCA in Marblehead. Groom is thrilled to partner and support the YMCA of the North Shore’s mission to strengthen communities, educate and nurture children, and promote healthy living in spirit, mind, and body. Salem, MA-based, Groom Construction was founded in 1979. The company’s early focus was residential construction which quickly expanded to include a wide array of multi-unit, mixed use, affordable housing and commercial projects spanning the academic, medical, corporate office, retail, and banking sectors. With growth across the country in our retail division and an office soon opening in Naples, FL., Groom continues to expand with an ever present focus and responsibility to giving back in order to strengthen the communities in which we work.

For over 40 years, PAGS has been committed to serving our pediatric and adolescent patients and their families with comprehensive medical care in a compassionate and child-friendly atmosphere.

We have taken all necessary measures to keep our patients and Care Teams safe throughout the pandemic.  In our continued effort to accommodate the safety of our employees and our patients, we are excited to announce that we are in the process of building out a 6-room temporary exam space to care for all of our sick patients.

The new space, opening late January, is entirely isolated with its own entrance, a separate ventilation system with Germicidal UV light technology that is hypercharged to destroy any micro-organisms (viruses, germs, bacteria). In the event we have a COVID positive patient, the exam room will be electrostatically sprayed and fully sanitized and it will be “out of service” for approximately 15 minutes. Once completely disinfected, the room will be “cleared” with no chance of patients entering a contaminated room.

As a practice, we are committed to giving back to our surrounding communities and we are thankful to work with others on the overall well-being and health of local children and their families.

As a proud supporter, partner, and advisor for the YMCA of the North Shore, Windover is grateful for the relationship we’ve built together that was founded on a common vision – building community together. Over the past decade, Windover has partnered with the YMCA on several projects throughout our region. From building new affordable housing, to creating new educational facilities for our kids, to building a new YMCA in Gloucester to meet the needs of all families, we have enjoyed making a true impact together. We believe in the YMCA mission and we couldn’t be prouder and more honored to be a trusted construction partner and advisor.
