THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF OUR Y COMMUNITY

Our Y community is strong and vibrant and we are grateful for your continued support and participation in the Y!  We know the impact the pandemic has had on our mental and physical wellbeing and we remain committed to continuing to provide opportunities and services that support you while providing a safe environment to stay healthy and build immunity.  As a community service organization, we stand with our community leaders on decisions made regarding mask and vaccination mandates.    Below outlines current mandates in place as well as safety and sanitization information for our YMCAs.

In accordance with guidance from the CDC, we recommend that all members, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask when visiting our Ys without current mandates.  YMCAs with current mandates are following the protocols below.

  • Effective January 15, 2022 vaccination verification will be required when visiting our Y. Our team is still determining the best approach to meet the requirements of the mandate and will communicate our plan when finalized.  If you want, you can upload your card ahead of time.  Just click here for LVO and click here for Salem.

  • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing by our staff teams
  • Recommending that members and participants keep 6 feet of distance, for now
