Cartwheel typically partners with school systems directly to provide virtual, evidence-based mental health care to students, family support, and psychiatric medication services. For the first time, Cartwheel is partnering with a community organization to provide mental health services to even more children in our school districts through our Y’s afterschool childcare programs. We launched our first Cartwheel partnership with Salem Public Schools, and trained our school age leadership team and inclusion specialists on the identification and referral process.
