As the holiday season approaches and we look forward to family gatherings, warm nights at home, and another joy-filled holiday, it is also a time to reflect on the critical role the Y plays for so many who need us during this season and beyond.
Our Y helps hundreds of healthy, growing children in our after-school and enrichment programs stay nourished with the food they need to focus, learn, and thrive. We support mental wellness by connecting children and families with therapeutic resources, and offering trauma-informed yoga and weightlifting through our wellness team. And through our affordable housing, our Y provides a safe, welcoming place to call home —a true place to belong.
